Contribute: Help Us Help Others

The Newton/San Juan Sister City Project is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, staffed entirely by volunteers.  All contributions are tax deductible to the extent of the law, and the San Juan del Sur Sister City guarantees that 100% of your donation will go towards program activity in Nicaragua. We have no American paid staff and minimal overhead.

Checks payable to “Newton/San Juan Sister City Project” may be sent to:
Don Ross, Treasurer
211 Winslow Road
Waban, MA 02468

NOTE: PayPal and other systems subtract as much as 5% of your contribution, which reduces our share of your donation, so sending a check means we get more bang for your buck. But if you prefer, you can donate securely online using Network for Good click here.

Your contributions make possible the work we do in San Juan del Sur: school building, adult education, public health through Appropriate Technology (water purification, smoke-free cooking, hygiene campaigns), providing school supplies, and a host of other activities.

NOTE: If you are planning to travel to San Juan del Sur and are willing to carry down needed medical or educational supplies, please write david.gullette@simmons.edu.

  1. This contribution honors the wonderful work Margaret and David Gullette and the brave people of San Juan have been doing for many years, and celebrates Margaret’s 70th birthday in particular.
In friendship and solidarity, Linda Dittmar
